How does Carousello sort?
We select in-season 'like new' clothes—clean (washed or dry cleaned within the last two weeks and free of flaws, stains and pet dander) and ready to wear without any repairs needed to be resold. We need to be confident that we can sell the clothes to happy and demanding customers within 30 days to designate the item for resale. If items can't be resold QUICKLY but are still wearable, we donate them to partner charities. Finally, clothing that's too damaged or stained to reuse gets sent to our recycling partners.
Do I need a Carousello account to drop off my items?
Yes, you need a Carousello account to drop off your items, but don't worry—if you don't have one, we'll create it for you right then and there.
How can I track my items?
Once you drop off your items at Carousello, you're all set! We'll email you updates about your deposit. You can also log into your Carousello account to track your deposit's progress, see your environmental impact, and more.
